On May 16th, An attack on Orange City was carried out under Contract from the PTO by a saiyan named Athren, the objective was simple, remove the USD base from Planet Earth. The purpose of this was for the PTO to weakn Earth's defenses and the USDs influence throughout the universe without coming into the spotlight themselves. In efforts to try to shift the eyes off of him, he managed to trick two other saiyan warriors into unwillingly assist him with his plan. He had tricked Jorey and Quash to glare upon the full moon while they chatted in the heart of the city. Both Jorey and Quash would transform into the mighty Oozaru and begin to destroy the city, unleashing chaos and destruction all over. After some time, Athren too would join the Oozaru's in his own form and unleash a devastating attack that would wipe out the base and the city as a whole.

The attack would leave the Earth devastated, so long had they lived in peace. An attack such as this was unimaginable, especially on the USD base itself. With the base being removed from Earth, the USD's forces were halved and the planet left weakened. This had put the Earth's government in a fragile place with little choice but to hire the Red Ribbon Army in an effort to form a defense for the planet.
The Red Ribbon would now be producing robots and androids to help defend the Earth, but even they had a plan of their own.

The Earth had put the blame on the Saiyan race as a whole, leaving the relationship between the saiyan's and Earth broken. The USD influence over Planet Vegeta was no longer and the hostilities between the two planets began to rise. On Earth, the government with the help of the Red Ribbon would roll out a registry plan to help calm the citizens of Earth who now lived in fear of the saiyan race. The Planetary Defense Registry would roll out, requiring all those of saiyan blood to register and give their personal information, such as an address, and reason for being on Earth. Though on the surface this merely looked like a plan to monitor threats, it was once again part of Red Ribbon's plan to use or eliminate these individuals.

Also intending to push Earth to a higher technological state and use it as a port for importing and exporting goods and allow the PTO to have a foothold on the Earth.

Along with Zero came a Majin named Liari and under the orders of Zero, she had attempted to blow up the capital building. It was then when two saiyan's made an attempt to stop her attack and prevent the claim on the city, those saiyan's were Kombu and Callion. Through a desperate battle, both of the saiyan warriors would get absorbed after giving their all. The two would become one with Liari and give her a massive increase in her power level that could be felt across the Earth, becoming the strongest warrior on Earth.

When the battle was over and the resisting force was no more, Zero had gotten to lay his claim on West City and had taken it for his own priorities. Though the residents of Earth weren't happy with this, there was nothing they could do at the moment except hope that it wouldn't get any worse.

The path they had in mind was much different than the current King, one that would benefit the saiyan race as a whole and restore honor to their Planet. This individual who aspired to take control was Zaks, A demon-saiyan half breed who had much larger goals than even Braccus could imagine.

Braccus on the other hand, couldn't do anything to stop the mass shift of followers he was losing. His lack of drive and selfishness was the beginning of the end for him and all it took was for one saiyan to rise up and show the rest of the Planet another way, a way where they didn't have to remain under one man's boot while he took all the reward.

On February 9th, Liari would turn her attention to South City in an effort to draw out the Earth's best warriors for her own entertainment but this time, she would raise the stakes. She would unleash an attack that would force anybody capable to respond or the loss of life would have been too great. Hovering above the city from her strategical point of view, she unleashed a deadly volley of Ki blast down towards the city and the innocents below and set the stage for what was to come.

This time a handful of fighters came to aid the innocent. Serena, Opherla and Ayu all arrived to help the innocent and evacuate them if they could. Callion too had arrived, ready to take the fight to Liari and end this once and for all. Just before the city was consumed by Liari's devastating attack, Athren appeared at the last second to shield the majority of the city and save as many people as he could.

The battles that followed were brutal and hard fought with neither side willing to give up any space. Liari and Quash both had their goals and the defenders of Earth NEEDED to stop them here. It seemed like this fight wasn't going to go their way until two key events happened. With the fear of losing everything again, Athren ascended to the next level of Super Saiyan and transformed into a Super Saiyan two and began to overwhelm Liari slowly. Meanwhile, Quash had managed to defeat Callion using a surprise tactic. Facing the pressure of a Super Saiyan Two, Liari transformed into her great ape form and began to even out the fight and it was at this point that Quash would also join in the fight. While it seemed like all odds were stacked against him, Athren was about to brace to fight both Liari and Quash with everything he had though Quash had a different plan. On March 10th, shortly after the warriors of Earth thought they had finally secured peace. The Saiyans had arrived in an effort to discuss potential treaties between the two factions. The events of Orange City still had the stink of saiyan lingering and the Earth was originally quite against these negotiations but through Zak's persistence, they had agreed to meet and talk. All parties were hoping for a peaceful future between the two factions and even a permanent alliance but that would all change. An unknown would kill the saiyan Queen's daughter and leave it looking like the USD didn't do their job to protect her while in her care. This had set Zaks on the warpath.

With one simple order, Zaks would order the city under lockdown and tell her troops to not kill those who would surrender. It was at this point that conflict broke out with both sides trying to fight off the other. Of course, the saiyan race had their advantages and could easily take care of the USD. It had almost appeared as if this situation was going to turn to a full hostile takeover until a group of people arrived to aid the city.

Rhapsody and Zerori would arrive and bring the fight to the saiyans, Rhapsody taking away Zak's general while Zerori focused on the saiyan queen herself. While Rhapsody had managed to defeat and even kill her opponents, Zerori would take another approach. Both fighters were equal, their powers matched perfectly which allowed a simple opportunity for discussion. Zerori took it upon herself to negotiate with Zaks and get the Queen to stand down and though the conflict was resolved, the Earth's worry about the saiyans only amplified. Though within the next few months, the USD permitted Planet Vegeta to place a small diplomatic outpost in the secluded areas of Earth, hoping that this might ease tensions.
